Are you or do you know of anyone who could spare a couple of hours every week to check in on an older person who may be feeling lonely or isolated, or would benefit from a chat?

Elder Voice are looking to recruit more lovely Befriending Volunteers who really make a difference to the lives of the elderly in our communities.

Depending on circumstances this could involve taking someone out for a coffee, visiting somewhere, or options for telephone befriending which involves having a chat over the phone.

This is a really rewarding opportunity as you can make a real difference to someone's life who may not have opportunities to keep in touch with many people.
